Sex refers to biological differences or characteristics that separate the male and female; internal and external organs. Gender determines by society, is it a set of characteristics distinguish between male and female particularly in the cases of man and women. The term sex and gender is related when we talk the classification of a person, they only differ if the person use a biological or social references to classify one person. If the classifier look into biological then, the man is male and women is female, but if the classifier use society, it falls to gender which include the man, woman, gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender and homosexual. For example a woman who considers herself to be a man, possessing sexual desire as a man, and is contemplating undergoing surgery in order to become man, is an example of sex and gender being separate as well as disparate. Therefore, sex is biological while gender is more define by social.

There’s nothing wrong with pre- marital sex, the only wrong is in the eye of the beholder. If you ask the person who is conservative definitely he answer back- sex is not something that should be practice lightheartedly. Sex is a serious affair and person must aware of the implication and consequences like pregnancy, disease and guilt. But if you ask the person who already rejected the teaching of biblical as a guide for how we ought to live like the western society has done, definitely his answer is- there’s nothing with that, may be because f pleasure and fulfillment of sexual desires. Hence, pre-marital sex is okay for liberated and for the conservative one, sex is not something that should be practice.

The law see to eliminate the worst form of child labor such as those involving slavery: such as the sale and trafficking of children, debt bondage, serfdom, including recruitment if children for use in armed conflict (NPA, Intelligence and other) prostitution and pornography; use of children for illegal activities, including drug trafficking and any work that is hazardous and harmful to the health, safety and morals of t5he children.

The government shall also provide and made accessible to working children free and immediate legal medical and psychological services. Victims of child labor shall be exempted from paying feeling fee’s for recovering civil damages.

When we talk about children, it’s a very sensitive topic other than any human being because children is the wealth of our society, they must be threaded like an important people, well educated, and well trained will contribute to the total development of an nation. But6 around , there are many children in the street begging you asking a bit of food or money, wearing a big t-shirt, looks like a skeleton with big stomach. Where are the R. A. 9262,   R. A. 7610 and R. A. 9231 and other Law protecting the child of the Philippine? Be/being a child abuser is a very expensive crime not because you offend the law itself but because the morality and dignity of the child.

                                     

In the Philippine setting. Once a woman get married, dedicated her life to her husband, her parents and family heirs. They bound together by common values and a common religion. Family system is characterized by many positive traits; among these are strong religious faith, respect for authority and high regard for armor proprio (self esteem) and smooth interpersonal relationship. Extended family system is common in the Philippine, is good in the sense that there is unity, in the welfare of the old and young members of the family are protected by other strong adults’ members. T has a dominant features  which are not favorable to economic development and  not a  few young men have the courage to marry even they are jobless because they know their parents’ will take care of them n the meantime or even for many years. The family obligation of the older children to their parents and young brothers and sisters has been a part of culture.

In western countries like United State are more individualist and self-reliant. At the age of 18 years old and adult children are financially independent from their parents. The security of parents and family obligation are minimized. To sum it up, the Philippine family system is focus on culture while the western family system is molded by freedom from culture and Liberate.

There are several factors that contribute to the personality of children reaching the adulthood; these are training from School, Family and parents. We defined that the family is the basic unit of the society. Every child, parents are the first one who molded his attitude. Being Filipino we all know how our parents love us, they will not put us on miserable life unless they are not our true parents but in your ever day life with them the sense of love is there. Sometime school change your principles n life, there was a time that my professor teaches opposite on what I believed in life. Environment can also affect our personality; there are times that our society influences us. If we   are going to evaluate the personality of a child, well that is case to case bases. I have a friend who has a broken family; her eldest brother had a child with two women, while her eldest sister living with the second man of her life and my friend got pregnant and the man leave her. What I’m trying to say is, there is a possibility that you will do what people did around you if such king of challenges occurs to your life.

Depo/ injectable, using condom and pills. Let’s differentiate first the three, first using a condom, 21 pesos for three pieces other brand 50 pesos and only once you can use it. Pills, everyday you have to take it, yes it’s free in the Public Health Center, but in Pharmacy 30 to 50 pesos and 500 pesos for high brand and Center had not always a stock of it. Depo is the best on them, take a look of it what if you don’t have a condom at that time so there is a possibility that your partner get pregnant. In pills, what if one day you forgot to take it because there is a lot of responsibility being a mother. Remember, there no specific time when sexual arousal occurs. In depo, you can do it anytime and in right place without agony!

Note: Reproductive Health Bill is not included because it’s not yet implemented in the Philippines.

Homosexual is not a disease because is not transmitted like other disease like HIV/AIDS. Homosexuality is just a product of society into some individual. It’s defined as the attraction to the same sex; for instance, Jose has a sexual attraction to Juan and Maria has a sexual attraction to Lorena. Therefore Maria is Lesbian and Jose is gay. I definitely disagree that homosexual is a disease; it is just an exceptional feeling of a man or a woman to the same sex. It’s not disease because even what feeling they have, they are man and woman created by God. Still that feeling/illusion is come from heart no other than that!

Disadvantage- obviously parental whishes are removed from the process which may be an issue n some religious/cultural group. It is concentrate on the technical rather the moral issues

Advantage- hopefully improves the sexual health by explaining what the risk are the sexual transmitted disease and reduces incidence of unwanted pregnancies. With the disease Like HIV/AIDS which are preventable being widely misunderstood-there some control over the accuracy of the information being supplied which parents may not be able to pass on to their children. The question is , are people like to get pregnant earlier because they’ve been exposed to this new information/ I have a friend who experienced sex at 16 years old, she told me that she did it  not because sex Education but because of what her family had conveyed as “good” and “bad” behavior.

CHALLENGES OF REPRODUCTIVE HEALTH BILL

            The Reproductive Health Bill is a Philippine bill aiming to guarantee universal access to method and information on birth control and maternal care. The Bill has become the center of continues national debate, while there is general agreement about its provision on maternal and child health. Private companies and the private and public elementary and Secondary school system will be required to participate n this information and product dissemination as a way of controlling the population of the Philippine.

            The bill is highly controversial with experts, academics, religious institution and mayor political figure both supporting and opposing it, often criticizing the government and each other in the process. The catholic Bishop Conference of the Philippine threatened to excommunicate the President Benigno Aquino III f he support the Bill. However, the position of the Catholic Church and the pro-life groups does not mean that they espouse the attitude of the “Natalism” at all cost as if the member of children n itself were the unmistakable sing of authentic Christian matermonical life. The sexual act, properly exercised within marriage only, is ordained primarily to the propagation of life.

            Like what I’m say before, the problems is neither on population nor demography, it is in the economy and the people. Poverty is an offshoot of lack of discipline and political will of the people. The inability of the people to chages the wrong values system leads them to be dysfunctional. A fight over the morals of birth control is kind of a nightmare, mostly because it attracts crazies on all sides of the spectrum. You have those claiming that pregnancy prevention is actually abortion, and then you have those overly- preoccupied with curbing population growth rather than the rights of actual human woman at stake here.

            Contraception s wrong because it’s deliberate violation of the design God built into the human race, often referred to as natural law. The natural law purpose of sex is procreation. The pleasure that sexual intercourse provides is an additional blessing from God, intended to offer t6he possibility of the new life while strengthening the bond of intimacy, respect and love between husband and wife. The loving environment this bond create is the perfect setting for nurturing children but sexual pleasure within marriage becomes unnatural and even harmful to the spouses, when it use in a way that deliberately the basic purpose of the se x which s procreation. God’s gift of the sex act, along with its pleasure and intimacy must not be abused by deliberately frustrating its natural end. In either words, the conclusion that the artificial contraception is bad supported by the same premises; that artificial contraception is bad.

USAPING PANG-EKONOMIYA

Because farmers are willing to improve their production if there is a proper support from the government. Aside from loan institution and credit assistance there should be a good market to their product. There some place that are isolated from market until now there are some villages that are no roads to the town proper for that the product of the farmers serve only for the village consumption such problem does not only create frustration but also bitterness toward government programs. So as long as the socio-economic and political structures of the country benefit only the elite and few capitalist, real development cannot be attained. The development of the poor must be the priority not those who are already very rich..

Natural calamities can easy destroy the agricultural investment, the inputs of farming are very expensive, transportation and prices are not stable. Most agricultural countries are eager to become industrial economy because they believe that being industrial economy is rich. Yes! Its true f you developed well you agricultural sector and the industrialization follows smoothly and naturally but if you neglected the agricultural sector, you will be suffer to a serious economic problems!

Like what I mention above, once an agricultural sector has been develop economic and social condition and their sector of economy invariably improved. No country built a sound agricultural economy without solid agricultural base. Sound agricultural will attract the foreign investor that creates a more jobs and the prices of raw materials are increase and stabilized, food supplies are sufficient and local markets are expanding. Hence, it blazes the trail toward industrialization.

In Philippine setting; here in Central Luzon Sate University there is a machine that can plant and harvest a palay, I don’t know exactly the name of this machine. This machine is not appropriate to our economic condition as a developing country and agricultural base because we are rich n human capital. If all the farmers use this machine the small earners of the famers (nakikisaka) will decline the income of those farmers. We are rich in laborer not like other western countries and in agricultural base country like the Philippine people incentive not machine incentive is necessary.

Birthday, marriage, baptism and fiesta (Barrio and Town). Let’s focus on fiesta, to honor their respective patron/saints. Usually these are expensive celebration, most poor people in rural, and they spend all their savings. Many people, even they barrow money just to feed their visitors at that time. Such kind of expenditure is wasteful and not suitable for the poor people. In the case of rich people there’s nothing wrong with that but n the poor it’s not a joke celebration. Poor become poorer and incur more debts in trying very hard to comply with religious tradition. Hence, religious is one of the main factors to hinder economic development.

Yes! Nothing is impossible if there is a oneness. Power, Prestige and Wealth is not enough to become an ideal industrial society. There should be big changes in human values. Process of developing people takes a longer process; it’s not takes only one night. Changing values and attitude is needed a very slow process. An ideal society is only as good as its people. People must love their own country, its traditions. Ts institutions and its product then such kind of society is called an ideal and great.

Investment in agricultural and in industrial is not enough to attain a total development. There must be investment in education. Money, Machine, and technology can easily transform a primitive palace into a modern  city, modern building, cemented roads and other social infrastructure can be constructed in a few years time, but the finer things in life  has been forgotten ; there were always be a broken family, drug abuse, and prostitution are widespread. There must be an investment in education because human factor is still the key to the success of any development endeavor; resources become useful and productive if they are well educated and they will become creative and socially oriented that could greatly help their fellow human being and their country. Handwork, and right attitudes and values are the product of Education!

Well, as a State University Accredited III, it’s a little bit good compare to other State University. Look around , inside the Central Luzon State University Campus, its look like a peaceful and quiet place but goes beyond that there are many  violence happened inside the campus between student- teacher, student-other school official that many students are not aware about this. If you verify the case what happened “still in process”. The president still can’t decided because most of the accused is teacher or University official (pls. move President!). Remember, Education is nothing if there are no students!

Definitely yes! Because when we talk about environment that’s a global enemy of all the country. We can’t control the guilt of environment. People is the cause, people is the only payment to what they did to the environment. We are nothing against the environment. Philippine is belong to the Pacific ring of fire but belong that we still have a serious environmental problem made by some companies/corporation and irresponsible man e.g. Pepeng and Ondoy that kill many people.

Education of the masses is the right kind of education appropriate to our country. Department of Education and the Commission on higher education should eliminate the course that are not suitable to our economic condition like Doctors, nurse and other prestige course as we look or limit the enrollee’s of such course. Our education system is not strict because they offer immediately of what is in demand and yet it’s not appropriate to our country. Department of education, Commission on higher education, economic planners and other policy makers should coordinate to each other for the courses that are appropriate to our country.

PROYEKTONG PANG-EKONOMIYA

           

If I will become an Economic Planner or Policy makers. I will propose the “FARMERS COOPERATION DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM”. Let discuss it what is all about.  The government should have a protection for the investment of small called farmer’s insurance cooperation. The program gives a half price for the inputs of farming like fertilizers, chemicals, tools, and machine in order for them to afford the necessary inputs. The program also provide a financial institution for the to not barrow money in big loan institution like five six (56). The fishery products will keep in cold storage, and fruits and vegetable will be processed into caned goods. Such practices can reduce the surpluses and shortages in farms product and price will be stabilized. It also provides a seminar regarding farming method. Such practices mention will provide a sound agricultural base that will attract the foreign investor that will create a more jobs and total development will attain. Clearly industrialization follows smoothly and naturally.

USAPING PANG-EKONOMIYA

Let’s define first what consumption all about is, is the value of goods and services bought by people. Individual buying acts are aggregated our time and space. Consumption is normally the largest GDP component of their country manly in terms of consumption level and dynamics. Saving is the process of setting aside a portion of your current income for future use. For example your savings s 10, 000 pesos and this money you use to buy a cell phone then it will become consumption. Saving could be a process or a object if you s are referring to process it’s become consumption but f you are referring to an object it’s simply just a saving.

Income defined as the payment of a certain service or renders which s generally express in monetary unit. Income is the sum of all wages, salaries, profits, interest payment, rents and other forms of earning received in a given period of time. While asset is anything that are tangible or intangible that is capable of being  owned or controlled to produce value and that s held to have postve economic value is considered as an assets. Simply because asset represent ownership of value that can be converted into cash.

Situation: If Marvin decided to invest his income 50 pesos at that moment his 50 pesos is already an assets which produce to have an ncome.

Illustraton:

Income 50 peso---------- invests (process) --------------assets------------income.

That’s how income and asset are related and different.

In the Philippine setting Central Bank of the Philippine is the one controlled our money and the World Bank who controlled the Central Bank of the Philippine regulate the Philippine peso. The question is, poverty is getting wider all over the world, why not World Bank makes a lot of money to solve the poverty? Because if the World Bank makes more money the value will become low. Having a lot of money the price still the same because the value of money is very low so nothing can change even there’s a lot of money, therefore poverty is still there. Hence, World Bank regulates the World money using the economic condition of each nation.

Many productive activities don’t take place in market, only measurable market value output. These activities don’t show up in the GNP example of such activities are home makers. Labor carpenters who repair their own home. Another is the portion of farmers output that the farmers consume for themselves. Example, a woman who tutors a student in math is earning money legally but she does not report it the government and therefore the money is involved in the transaction is not counted. Another is the illegal like gamblers and small livelihood in home whose product is only for family consumption is not also included and the allowances of the students. GNP is not accurate measurement of economic development but government still uses this because there is no perfect measurement to government growth.

Inflation is the increase of prices of goods and services without increasing the value of money and the prices of goods and services in economy rise above the normal level of economy. For example the prices of a gasoline or oil in the world market and the prices of rice’s is much higher than the palay such kind of price fluctuation the value of money still the same. Therefore the country is facing an inflationary situation.
